The ownership structure of Junnikkala Oy (“The Company”) has changed as a result of a transaction completed on April 30, 2019.
The ownership structure of Junnikkala Oy (“The Company”) has changed as a result of a transaction completed on April 30, 2019. In accordance with the ownership arrangement, Juha and Johanna Junnikkala have divested their ownership in the Company. The arrangement was implemented between the Company and its other shareholders — CEO Kalle Junnikkala, Sales Director Veli-Matti Junnikkala and Production Director Janne Pyy.
Juha Junnikkala has served as the Company’s Forestry Director and as Chairman of the Board. Johanna Junnikkala has been a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Both leave their duties to the Company and the Board of Directors.
Junnikkala Oy is one of Finland’s most important wood processing companies. The Company’s production facilities are located in Kalajoki and Oulainen, and it sells products made from raw material from the region to over 30 countries. The Company’s turnover in 2018 was € 86m, it directly employs over 150 people and indirectly nearly 400 people.
