Malaysian Timber Council visited Junnikkala Sawmill

Malaysian delegation of timber council, members form wooden packaging, furniture and molding industry visited our sawmill in Kalajoki.

The members of Malaysian delegation have never used Finnish timber before, so they visited our sawmill to study Finnish wood and timber as a raw material and operations of a Finnish sawmill. They wanted to understand the Finnish way to use wood and how Finnish companies work.

- After the visit I got the impression, that our quests are looking forward to testing Finnish timber and even establishing business partnership with Finnish operators, our myyntipäällikkö Ming Yu kertoo.

During the visit we had company introductions about Junnikkala’s quality standards, machinery, techniques and Finnish wood qualities and species. Malaysian delegation also took a guided tour of the sawmill’s production lines and examined product quality.
